Spring tides this weekend, so the estuary is a sea of mud this morning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152120.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152120.jpg\" alt=\"20120916-152120.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nUp at Gara Rock the work to convert the old hotel into holiday apartments continues. It seems to be taking years to complete, don&#8217;t suppose there are too many buyers at the moment. We have a pasty at the Lookout cafe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152440.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152440.jpg\" alt=\"20120916-152440.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe usually follow the coast path from here, but for a change we head north and follow the road inland over the hill. Great views from the top.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152852.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/20120916-152852.jpg\" alt=\"20120916-152852.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nEventually we reach East Portlemouth. It&#8217;s a very sleepy village. The last shop closed years ago.
