It\u2019s very warm again, but we’re heading up to the Schilthorn for the brunch deal that they always offer during April. It is the traditional end of season get-together for Val’s ski school colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant is situated above the village of M\u00fcrren at a height of almost 10,000 feet, and I had dressed for cold weather. It turned out to be well above freezing, which is almost unheard of at this altitude in early April. The brunch is a very nice hot and cold buffet. The price also includes unlimited Prosecco, which I suspect is what makes the deal so popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very nice to see everyone. After a couple of hours of indulging ourselves we caught the cable car back down to M\u00fcrren and had a nice walk through the village.
