I&#8217;ve seen a few of these around Europe, but this is certainly the best so far. The main building was modelled on the Crystal Palace in London, and was completed just 12 years after the London landmark. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-15.58.27.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2014-06-18 15.58.27.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-15.58.27.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later we cross the river in the hope of getting some better views of the city from the observation deck of a skyscraper. The lift takes us up 28 floors. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-15.59.13.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2014-06-18 15.59.13.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-15.59.13.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A good view of the Dom at last. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-16.00.02.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2014-06-18 16.00.02.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wpid-2014-06-18-16.00.02.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We cross the bridge back towards our side of the river.
