To get there we first go up to Kleine Scheidegg, where it is gloomy and absolutely rammed with skiers. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.53.53.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2015-12-27 17.53.53.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.53.53.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then we take another train down to the next valley. Ribbons of man made snow on the sunny side of the hill, but quite a few people skiing on them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.54.38.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2015-12-27 17.54.38.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.54.38.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the bottom of the valley, Grindelwald is really wintry. They only get an hour of sunshine each day at this time of year. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.55.24.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2015-12-27 17.55.24.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/wpid-2015-12-27-17.55.24.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We walk up through freezing Grindelwald and catch a gondola up the other side of the valley.
