Turns out he wanted me to give a talk on the new club website that&#8217;s currently being developed. So here I am giving a talk about the latest website tech to an audience of around 100 people. I had about 10 seconds to prepare.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-03-15.42.46.png.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2016-02-03 15.42.46.png\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-03-15.42.46.png.png\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>My principal (indeed only) success criterion at times like this is &#8216;do I get laughs?&#8217;. And I did, thank heavens. <\/p>\n<p>Today it started snowing before we woke up, and it&#8217;s still snowing now. Val has to venture out as she has a hairdressing appointment. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-03-15.14.30.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2016-02-03 15.14.30.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-03-15.14.30.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m staying put,&nbsp; but the big column of empty bottles in the corner isn&#8217;t going to take itself to the recycling,&nbsp; so pretty soon I&#8217;m going to have to brave the weather.
