We got up really early and caught the 8.45 cable car up to M\u00e4nnlichen. The pistes are pretty firm early on,&nbsp; and it&#8217;s gloomy in the shadows. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.35.41.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2016-02-22 12.35.41.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.35.41.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But the sun gets to work, and the snow begins to soften. Every 10 minutes or so the cable car deposits another 70 skiers at the top of the hill. Down they all come. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.36.25.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2016-02-22 12.36.25.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.36.25.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have coffee and head for Scheidegg, where it&#8217;s a lot quieter. Pistes getting quite soft now. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.37.00.jpg.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"2016-02-22 12.37.00.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wpid-2016-02-22-12.37.00.jpg.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We finish off with a glorious romp down Wixi and ski home via Mary&#8217;s.
