Super town with the exuberance of Italy and the grace of France. Of course the best part is that it&#8217;s Swiss, and everything just works.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_192010.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Relaxing on a boat where we had dinner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191408.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>This morning we had a long bus ride to the Verzasca gorge. At the top of the valley is a lovely bridge.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191438.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>And of course people are tempted to jump off.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191538.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Old hill villages line the gorge.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191714.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Stunning scenery.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191612.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The busses down the gorge are infrequent so we walk most of the way. In the distance is a dam.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/20170721_191743.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>And what a dam. This is the one that was used in the James Bond film Goldeneye.
