Even the cows are sunbathing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-1495384468.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-1495384468.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4280 alignnone size-full\" width=\"3000\" height=\"1907\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We found a bench with a view to sit and eat our lunch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-2082774795.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-2082774795.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4281 alignnone size-full\" width=\"2721\" height=\"1683\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To begin with the valley floor is narrow. Road, rail, river and our walking path compete for space.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-169667028.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-169667028.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4282 alignnone size-full\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2029\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Half way down it opens up and we can almost see our destination.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-164203332.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mikeeasley.co.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/wp-image-164203332.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4283 alignnone size-full\" width=\"3000\" height=\"1954\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve only ever seen this valley from the train so it&#8217;s nice to get a bit more familiar with it.
