And it&#8217;s not just us &#8211; the village is beginning to get quieter too. The long trains that would only fit on the inconvenient platform 1 at Lauterbrunnen have been replaced with normal length ones, and we no longer have to plan when to go to the Co-op to avoid the crowds.<\/p>\n<p>This morning we popped down to Lauterbrunnen as I&#8217;m due a run. Val has a bit of a cold but she&#8217;ll still have a walk.
