Val headed up to her &#8216;office&#8217;. The temperature was hovering around zero and the path along the river was dry. In these conditions I can go fast and far, and I count my blessings as I listen to reports of motorway congestion on Radio 2.<\/p>\n<p>The Telegraph ran an article on the prettiest ski resorts in the world a few days back.
