Last night we had our usual double new year celebrations, the Swiss new year at midnight followed by Jools Holland on the BBC and the British new year at 1am. Aneta doing a fine job of encouraging the revellers as usual, while Sebesty\u00e9n makes cocktails.<\/p>\n

But this morning we’re back down to earth, and Val goes up to Scheidegg to work and I went down to Lauterbrunnen for a run. Here’s one of the pylons for the Eiger Express on the way to Brandegg. They’re absolutely enormous.<\/p>\n
