There’s a f\u00f6hn blowing when we woke up this morning, with trains and ski lifts all closed. Only the tiny tots on the nursery slope remain unaffected.<\/p>\n

It’s school holidays in Holland this week, and the Dutch love their skiing. They wait patiently for a train that might never come.<\/p>\n

Down here in the village the weather’s not that bad, so I decide to go for a run. My headphones seem to have expired, so I borrow Val’s and set off. It’s nice to be back on the road. I was lucky – as soon as I got back we had a huge snowstorm.
