Colin likes the beer at the Three Tells down in the valley, so we popped down for dinner last night. On the way home we walked to the Horner pub in Lauterbrunnen, where Beves and Ibe have a last minute booking. They’re playing in the upstairs bar – we’ve never set foot in the place.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It’s like going back in time. There’s a flashing disco ball on the ceiling, and it looks like nothing’s changed for years. Some of the youngsters even wore period outfits.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It turned into a pretty good night out.<\/p>\n

Today the weather’s glorious again. There’s still lots of snow in the village despite the high temperatures.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Lots of new growth in sunny spots.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Wengen looks as lovely as ever.<\/p>\n
