The rain that the forecasters had promised us arrived yesterday evening and continued through the night. It finally came to an end this morning, and then the sun came out. It’s very mild. Eiger terrace doing a roaring trade, very unusual in January.<\/p>\n

It’s still chilly down in the valley.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The skiing won’t be up to much after all the rain, so we popped down to Interlaken for shopping. Wengen is in the shadow of the mountain when we get back, but up high the sun will keep shining for another hour or so.<\/p>\n
