Emily and Ali came round for dinner last night, we had pies and chips with green beans and gravy – yum. When we moved into Chalet Iltis there were a few things that needed fixing, including a cracked tile on the terrace. Unfortunately when the tiler came to fix this he found something amiss with the structure beneath the tiles. Today therefore we were up early to greet the following; An architect, a master builder, the tiler and two local builders. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They poked about on the terrace and drilled some holes, and promised to come up with a ‘solution’ in the next couple of months. Whatever that turns out to be, it won’t be cheap. They did assure us however that the terrace isn’t going to collapse any time soon, so we can continue to use it.<\/p>\n
It’s been baking hot today, so apart from a trip to the recycling to dispose of last night’s empties we’ve not done much. This evening there’s live music down by the lake at B\u00f6nigen, so we’ll pop down to see that.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
