Yesterday’s plan to go skiing was cancelled by the weather. It was a shocking minus 17 at Scheidegg, and that’s just too cold. It was even too cold to go to the pub last night, but that’s not really a problem as we’re always well stocked up with beer and wine.

It was just as cold today. Across the valley in Mürren, 1800 skiers were taking part in the Inferno race. Apparently it was minus 21 at the start. Looking on the bright side, having stayed at home all day, we have a very clean house.
