FollowA nice day was forecast today, but by the time we got to Männlichen it had started to rain. We set off anyway, more in hope than expectation of an improvement. It did brighten up eventually.
We reached Alpiglen in good time and caught the train up to Scheidegg. There was time for a quick trip up to Eigergletscher for coffee. A storm was raging up there, and we were glad to head back to Wengen.
