FollowLast night we started with a beer in Rocks, followed by a lovely dinner at the Eiger. We followed this up with cocktails back at Rocks. On our way home we could tell that the weather was beginning to change, and sure enough, not long after we got home, the wind was howling. This morning there was fresh snow above the village and it was much, much colder. Nice clear air gave us very good views along the valley (remember, you can click or tap the pics to make them bigger).
We spent most of the day in Interlaken having lunch and shopping, but we were glad to get home out of the cold wind. The chilly weather has, however, fixed my beer problem. By 9 o’clock this evening the north wind had chilled my Heidelberg beer to perfection.
Tomorrow is Saturday, and many of the holidaymakers should be leaving. It’ll be nice to have our mountain back.
