FollowYesterday evening we met Helen, Adrian, Lesley and Dave for a few drinks in Rocks. It’s the busiest week of the season, so earlier this week I reserved a table at the Eiger for dinner. It was really busy, but we had a lovely meal.
Afterwards we had a wander down the street looking for a bar for some cocktails. Tanne and Crystal were both packed, but we got a nice table by the fire at the Braunbaer.
Barman Ollie has a little blowtorch for igniting our shots.
Today has seen more and more visitors arriving. Every single train is packed with holidaymakers, and Wengen is full to bursting with families. The kids all need skiing lessons, so Val will be starting work again tomorrow. The good news is that the sun is shining and the weather forecast predicts at least a week of fine, dry weather.
