We’re back in England, and our diaries are packed with appointments with friends, family, and for me – dentists. It’s always nice to have a wander around Shifnal though, and some of the local wildlife is waking up from winter slumbers. This squirrel posed nicely in a shaft of sunlight beneath a tree.

Our beloved local pub Odfellows closed down a while back, and the building has now been converted into a dental practice. I booked myself in for a checkup today, and sat in my usual seat by the fire in what used to be the lounge bar but is now the dentists’ waiting room. I do miss the old pub, but it’s nice being able to walk to the dentist instead of having to drive into Telford.
