Val’s lesson was cancelled this morning – apparently the parents didn’t like the look of the weather. They were probably right, high winds closed most of the lifts and it would have been distinctly unpleasant up at Scheidegg.

We took the opportunity to pop down to Interlaken for shopping – it’s nice to have a bit more variety than we get from our Co-op in the village. We also got some spare keys cut for the apartment. When we got back to Wengen it was snowing, and it looks set-in for the evening.

Oh, the curling. Val’s team lost 7-6 to a team of Swiss, and they all trouped back to Rocks for drinks afterwards.
