Mettla

It’s dry today but still chilly so we don’t want to go too high. We get off the train at Wengernalp and head downhill towards Mettla, which is nothing more than a few cowsheds.

Soon we reach the forest.

The path clings to the side of the mountain above the valley. Glimpses of Mürren.

And a spectacular aerial view of Lauterbrunnen.

Streams and waterfalls cross the path. This one is called Hasenbach and a dog was enjoying cooling off.
