It’s dry today but still chilly so we don’t want to go too high. We get off the train at Wengernalp and head downhill towards Mettla, which is nothing more than a few cowsheds.
Soon we reach the forest.
The path clings to the side of the mountain above the valley. Glimpses of Mürren.
And a spectacular aerial view of Lauterbrunnen.
Streams and waterfalls cross the path. This one is called Hasenbach and a dog was enjoying cooling off.
