We had a good night out with Uptown Lights in Rocks last night, and this morning it’s a beautiful day. We head up to Männlichen and ski round to Scheidegg. Sunny Saturdays are always busy as the local kids can ski free.
A quick lunch in the teepee. There’s been a change of ownership in here and things have changed. The chaotic (but effective) running of the bar and the kitchen has been replaced with typically Swiss orderly service. The food is still ok but the delicious burgers that we used to enjoy are no more. You can even pay by credit card. I think I preferred it the old way.
The Lauberhorn. Normally this would be covered in ski tracks, but the avalanche danger is still high so most people are avoiding skiing off-piste.

WHAT! No burgers? Who do I write and complain to?
The Jungfraubahn are running it now. If you can offer them a way to get planning permission approved for their new lifts to Eigergletscher & Männlichen I reckon they’ll give you free burgers for life.
