Good evening out yesterday. We had a few beers in Rocks, then popped into the Silberhorn and had a lovely Chateaubriand. Patrick was playing in Rocks for the first time. Hopefully he’ll be back. 

It was snowing in the village when Val left for work this morning, but it soon turned to rain as the temperature rose. It’s a bit miserable.

And just as miserable up at Scheidegg. At least it was snowing. 

A popular option on days like this is tobogganing. You can rent these for a few francs and the train will take you to the start of the tobogan run up at Wengernalp. Kids love it, but they must get just as wet as they would have if they’d gone skiing.

And if you’d rather sit in a bar while your kids get soaked, you can always hire a ski instructor to take them out.
