Very pleasant evening in the Caprice last night, listening to Beves and Ibe.

This morning we’re off to Thun. Last time we came here we were very focussed on shopping, so we didn’t get time to see the castle. It’s quite impressive.

There’s a museum here giving all the historical information. It was built between 1180 and 1190 by Duke Berthold V of Zähringen. Nowadays it is owned by the city, and if you want to have a really big party you can rent the great hall for the evening.

Barbecue in the garden tonight, as a lot of Angela’s family are here.
