The weather forecast tells us that we need to be up early to get the best out of the day, as thundery showers are due later. We met Paul and Anne-Marie and set off up to Männlichen. Glorious at the top.

The hike to Alpiglen is about 9 kilometres, and it takes around 3 hours with a few stops.

Lunch stop at a place called Mettla.

We caught the train from Alpiglen and went up to Scheidegg for a beer, where we watched the clouds gathering over the mountains. A very nice hike.
