Storm Luis is rapidly approaching, so waking up to sunshine this morning was a very pleasant surprise. We had a wander around the village after lunch. Another nice surprise came from the Gemeinde (local council), who have told us that we no longer need to wear our masks in the main streets in the village.

This afternoon the storm continues to approach, the mountains are disappearing and the wind is whistling around our chimney. Our balcony furniture is tucked away in a corner, so hopefully it’ll all still be there when the bad weather is over.
