We had all sorts of plans for this morning – running, a hike, the usual mountain stuff. Things looked good until mid-morning and then the heavens opened. There’s been a lot of rain in Switzerland in the last few days, and river and lake levels are reportedly very high.

Here in our valley, the waterfalls are quite spectacular.

We did manage a walk around the village after lunch in between the showers. Later on we’re planning a trip to the pub if the weather isn’t too bad.
