FollowIt’s sunny and mild, and holidaymakers are making the most of the last day of their skiing holidays. In the UK and here in Switzerland the kids will all be returning to school next week. It’s not surprising therefore to find that everywhere is super busy. Big queue for the cable car to Männlichen.
Up at the top things are equally frantic. As well as the cable car from Wengen there’s a fast gondola lift from Grindelwald, so days like this get very crowded as this shot from the webcam shows.
Our nursery slopes are busy too. The children have skiing tests and will come home with medals.
It’s Val’s last day at work – at least for now, so we’ve made sure all the chores are done so that she can have a lazy weekend.
