It’s another lovely day, and we were up early to enjoy the best snow conditions at Scheidegg.

The skiing was more or less perfect for the first few hours, and the runs were very quiet.

Soon the temperatures began to rise, and the sun started to take its toll on the snow. In cold weather snow sticks to your skis, but today the warm sunshine quickly melts it away.

We had a leisurely coffee stop before returning to Wengen. This afternoon the temperature in the village got up to 16 degrees – it’s t-shirt weather. It’s still March though, and winter often reappears at this time of year, so we don’t take the sunshine for granted.
