Sahara sand

It’s another bright day and very warm, but the wind is blowing from a long way south, bringing with it sand and dust from the Sahara desert. We went down to Interlaken to get food and to refresh Val’s rapidly dwindling stock of Prosecco. In the village work on the church continues apace.

The huge metal cross that crowns the spire has been taken away by helicopter for refurbishment.
