The weather didn’t turn out the way we’d hoped today. It was bright early on, but the clouds soon rolled in bringing more snow showers and once again robbing us of our mountain views. It’s cold too. A good day for cleaning therefore. Val played her last game in the chefs’ curling tournament this afternoon – they beat the team from the hotel Jungfraublick.

We have treated ourselves to a can of Heinz beans from the Co-op (they cost 5 times the U.K. price), so we can have a traditional Swiss meal of fish fingers, chips and beans for dinner.
