It’s time for a new pair of skis. This presents a problem, as there are at least a dozen big manufacturers, and they all offer a range of different skis. Where on earth to start? Fortunately we have a test centre up at Männlichen where you can try as many different ones as you like. I tried 3 pairs today. All were good, but none of them had the ‘wow’ factor that I was looking for. Anyhow, it was a lovely day.

We’re busy tomorrow but I’ll try some more on Friday. After skiing we had a few beers with Emily and Colin, and now it’s time to cook dinner.
