It’s another beautiful day, but no skiing for us as we’ve got things to do. Val had her German class just before lunch, so I went up to the village and got the shopping. Wengen is beginning to come to life. The Sunstar opened today.

The council have cleared most of the snow and ice from the paths now, and the warm sunshine keeps them dry. It’s nice to be able to wander around without wearing crampons everywhere. This is the view from the top of our path.

After lunch we popped down to Lauterbrunnen to ask the bank to order some debit cards, and then we cleaned the house from top to bottom as it’s Colin’s turn to cook tonight and we’ll have a house full of hungry people.
