This morning the weather is perfect again. Snowdrops are appearing in the meadow in front of our house. Time for ice cream on the balcony.
Overcast today, so we caught the train down to Lauterbrunnen and had a walk up the valley towards Stechelberg. Nice scenery despite the cloudy weather. View up to Wengen.
Our local band ‘Duo Centrale’ (Colin & Steve) are playing in the Crystal bar tonight, so we’ll be off out later to see them.
It rained a lot last night, and this is not generally a good thing for the snow. But the sun was out this morning so we ventured up the hill.

But as the day wore on and the sun got to work the snow softened, and we had a really good ski after lunch.
We had a few beers when we got back to the village, but it’ll be a quiet night in tonight, as the season starts tomorrow with a big party in the Crystal bar.
Not much happening today, it’s damp and mild. We do our shopping & cleaning and go out for a few beers before having dinner.
At home we have a new friend who waits by our door.
Gloomy today, not many people went skiing.
We did our shopping and sat in the Crystal bar drinking coffee and chatting. Slow day! Forecast is for rain or snow tonight, nobody knows which it will be but everyone has an opinion.
It’s another lovely day, and the weekend crowds are all gone. We have the cable car to ourselves.
Pistes are empty, and there’s not a cloud in the sky.
