Another beautiful day. Absolutely everyone who owns a pair of skis will be up the hill this morning.
This almost qualifies as a queue!

Home run down to Mary’s Cafe. This is actually below the village.
The village is very busy now, it’ll be quite a challenge finding a table for dinner tonight.
And what a lovely day for it. Great snow and sunshine!

And very cold and murky it is too. Snowed pretty much all day, lots of stuff closed owing to high winds up the hill.

No trains to Schedegg (avalanche) so we all ended up at Mannlichen today. Great views as always.

Snowed all day at Scheidegg, mixture of snow and rain in Wengen. Not much to do except drink coffee and enjoy a good lunch.

Snowed all day again. Mannlichen and Scheidegg open with 1 lift each. Sounds like a recipe for queues, so we went to Murren.

Stopped at Sonnenberg for coffee. We were the only customers.

Back at home, a poroblem is developing. Every time Val clears the steps the pile of snow by our front door grows a bit. If it snows much more we won’t be able to get in!
Design fault
Snowed all day. Went over to Grindelwald, which is a lot lower than Wengen. Main street had to close for a while while they cleared the snow.
Where did all this come from?
Up at Scheidegg, a blizzard was blowing. Railway workers trying to keep the points clear of snow.

Back in Wengen the council were clearing the path by our house.
