Very busy up at Scheidegg!

Everyone is out skiing today. It’s a strange thing with new snow – everyone looks forward to it, but it can actually make skiing quite tricky. You can see how this run has turned very bumpy at the top.

Here’s Val at the bottom of all those bumps.

and snow, and snow, and more snow. It started last night and snowed continuously for 26 hours. Big tree outside our house.

All lifts closed today because of the high winds. There’s a nice walk from Wengen down to Lauterbrunnen. It’s quite steep and it takes about an hour. The views are spectacular.

The path crosses the railway line on its way down.

Mince pies in Rocks bar later. Dinner in the Silberhorn tonight.
