Arrived at Bruges about lunchtime. Nice hotel alongside a canal. Parked right outside.

Had a wander around, bit of shopping and some lunch. Lovely day, lots of tourists.

Belgium

Off to Belgium for a couple of days. Used the tunnel – it’s still good after all these years. Can’t believe I haven’t used it since 2004!

Once we arrive in on the other side we have an easy drive through northern France and Flanders. Our destination is a little village about 60kms across the border in Belgium.

On arrival we are shown to our ‘guest house’. In reality this is the first floor of a converted farmhouse. It is huge, and beautifully appointed.

Anyhow, what are we doing here in the middle of the Belgian countryside? Well it just happens that the owner of this place is also a Porsche specialist with a worldwide reputation. We go out for dinner while he does things to the car.
