We had a good walk down through the meadows from Allmend, it’s colder at night now so lots more artificial snow.

We had some rain overnight, but the sun returned this morning and we had another glorious day. Wengen is very busy now and most people want to ski. We’re happy to enjoy the walks above the village – once it snows they’ll be gone until spring.

The sleigh should really be on skis, but it’s still nice to see.
Meet Oskar, born on 22nd December in Interlaken. He is now our next-door neighbour along with his parents Jana and Andy.
Up the hill there’s quite a bit more skiing on offer – you can ski down to Innerwengen below the village, and as far as Allmend. The restaurant at Allmend is therefore doing a roaring trade.
