Hayley & Paul went home this morning, we travelled down to Interlaken with them and then got some shopping. Thanks for being great company as ever chaps, and for our lovely dinner last night.
Looks like rain tonight. Everyone’s hoping it will be cold enough for snow, but sadly I don’t think so.
Beautiful sunny day today. We got up early and headed up to Scheidegg. Everyone skiing very well.

We ate in last night, lots of yummy pizzas from the Co-op. Up early this morning for exercises with Hayley up at Männlichen, then lots of skiing. After coffee.
And here I am watching my athlete perform on the steep section, which we used to call Meltdown Hill.
After all the excitement of curling last night we thought we’d pop over to Murren today. Here’s Hayley & Val contemplating their plan of attack down a steep face on the way down.

Back to Wengen and a few beers before dinner.
Weather’s still mild and dry.
Curling is always good fun. We gather up enough people to make 4 teams and have a couple of hours at the rink. At the end nobody knows who won or lost, but we all had a great time. Apologies Hayley, I am so rubbish I didn’t get a single decent photo of you!
Very warm today, with wall to wall sunshine.
We got the train up to Scheidegg and skied around, then went to Brandegg for lunch, and pottered back to the village for beers at the Figeller bar on the nursery slope.

The warm weather gave rise to an avalanche this afternoon.
Paul and Hayley arrived last night, so up the hill we went today accompanied by Ozzy. Paul hasn’t skied for many years, but skills that you learn at a young age never leave you.
Hayley just skied like a champ, as always.
We all skied round to Scheidegg this afternoon, and a good time was had by all.
