Today we complete our circumnavigation of Ithaca, and return to Cephalonia and the port of Fiscardo. Fiscardo is the Ionian equivalent of Salcombe – all expensive restaurants and boutiques. It’s busy during the day with lots of tourists who arrive on tripper boats from beach resorts nearby, but in the evening it is the exclusive yachtsman’s hideaway.

Today we continue our circumnavigation of Ithaca, and we head for a place called Frikes. We got there about lunchtime and it looked far to exposed to the evening winds that we’ve been having. So Sea Fever diverts to Kioni, which we know to be much more sheltered.

Another day, another island, and today we’re off to Ithaca, home of Homer’s Odysseus. Vathi is the principal town, and we moor at the old seaplane base just outside the town.

Another lovely day, and a long voyage for the crew of Sea Fever. It’s well over 20 nautical miles to our next harbour on the holiday island of Cephalonia.

A nice easy run down the Meganissi Channel to one of our favourite spots. Our German buddy Harry reckons this is better than the Carribean, and I’m sure he’s right. Sea Fever (our boat) is safely moored on the town quay, so it’s time a beer.

Lovely day, and a nice easy sail of 10 nautical miles. Beautiful bay, we’re anchored about 200 yards off the beach, where there are a couple of nice tavernas. Things could be worse!
