Nevertheless we press on and have lunch in Murren. The sun decides to put in a brief appearance!

After lunch we get the funicular up to Almendhubel. This guy is clearing the tracks – tough job!

Slow day in the village, not much happening. It was the ‘village opening’ last night – bands playing, night time cable car rides etc. Here’s Beanie making a display in the tourist office.

On the nursery slope preparation is underway for some skiing.
Not much to do today, snowing hard, windy and cold. No ski lifts open, so we pop up to Scheidegg for lunch. It’s a snowy wilderness.
