Got out early this morning to beat the crowds, but in the event there were no crowds.
Mannlichen chairlift. There’s normally quite a big queue here, but not today.
On the World Cup downhill run back towards the village. Skied the World Cup slalom run this afternoon too.
Later on, we get a very red sky over the Breithorn.
We have a wonderful ice rink in the village, but this year there’s been so much snow it’s turned into a ski slope. Ski School have thoughtfully installed a lift for the kids.
Cocktails in the Sunstar last night. Jeremy made a mistake with one of them (put a slug of Amaretto into a drink that was supposed to be a Black Russian). So we kept adding things until it tasted ok – it turned out that cream was the magic ingredient.
Later we were joined by Heidelberg Mike who is here for the weekend.
Great views of the hills around Geneva as we circle before landing.
And some lovely little villages alongside the lake as we make our way towards Wengen by train.
