Viz was poor again this morning, but got togged-up and went to Rocks. About 11.30 the sun began to peep through, so we headed up the hill.

We dragged Terry along with us, so had a quick pitstop at the little bar near the Mannlichen chair, before a really good blast around the whole area. Snow still good down to Grindelwald and Wengen.

and it began really gloomy. Awful viz so skiied in the trees down to Grund before lunch. Coffee at the Jagerstubli very nice.

Things did brighten up a bit after lunch though, and we had a great run back to the village from the Lauberhorn.

No skiing today – pretty much everything closed due to high winds. Went for a walk on the other side of the valley to a place called Winteregg.

A little train goes back and forth every so often. How on earth they got the train up here is anyone’s guess.
This apartment is quite posh and has a real fireplace. So we went for a few beers and bought some wood. And almost set the place on fire.
