Off to Grindelwald today to see how their side of the mountain is doing. To get there we first go up to Kleine Scheidegg, where it is gloomy and absolutely rammed with skiers.
Then we take another train down to the next valley. Ribbons of man made snow on the sunny side of the hill, but quite a few people skiing on them.
At the bottom of the valley, Grindelwald is really wintry. They only get an hour of sunshine each day at this time of year.
We walk up through freezing Grindelwald and catch a gondola up the other side of the valley. It’s soon like summer again as we are lifted out of the gloomy village.
Up at the top the snow isn’t brilliant, but plenty of people are having fun.
