We thought we’d finish all our Christmas leftovers last night, but even with help from Colin and Ali we were still left with some mince pies. The Christmas pudding was good though.

This morning Val was off to work again. Piste machines going out for the day at Scheidegg. These things smooth the snow to make skiing easier, and they cover any bare spots that begin to appear on busy stretches.

The shops are open again, so I popped up to the Co-op. I was early, but I still had to queue to get in, as the whole village was stocking up with stuff after 3 days without any shops.
Lots of people tobogganing at Allmend. The portacabins in the background are at the top of the World Cup slalom run. The races begin in a couple of weeks time.
