We set off up to Männlichen after lunch – it’s a really nice day. It’ll soon be time for the cows to come down, but for now they seem happy enough.

We head down towards Arven.

It’s blueberry season. The wild ones aren’t as big as the ones you buy in the shops, but they’re just as tasty.

At Arven we turn back towards Männlichen. The path leads us through the forest.

We catch the gondola up from Holenstein, and then the cable car brought us back to Wengen. A great hike on a lovely afternoon.
