Last summer we did a lot of walking around Lake Thun. Our aim is to link these walks until eventually we’ve walked all the way around. Today is a glorious day for a hike, but there are no trains along Lake Thun at the moment, so we may as well make a start on Lake Brienz instead. We get the train to a village called Oberried. It’s pretty cute.

We knew we’d have to climb to find the path, and unfortunately we went a bit wrong by climbing too high.

We were soon back on track. Nice views down to the village.

We’re heading for the village of Ringgenberg. It’s about 2 hours walking.

Eventually we reach our destination, and a bus picks us up and takes us back to Interlaken. A nice walk.
