Fiscardo

Up early today, we’re off to Fiscardo. It’s the Greek equivalent of Monaco, and we need to get in early to make sure we get a good spot. The voyage is about 20 miles and we arrive early in the afternoon.

Beers on the quay after we tie up.

Fiscardo is stunning. This is a little alleyway leading to the house where we use the showers.

Super yachts vie for position in the little harbour.

Storm

We had a good night out and a few drinks on the boat last night.

image

This morning we woke to the sound of wind howling through the rigging. We haven’t planned to go anywhere today, so it’s off to the cafe for an extended breakfast.
Despite the weather, Konstantinos lies quietly to her anchor in the harbour

As usual the weather clears up in the afternoon and we enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool after doing the shopping and collecting our laundry.

Nidri

Off to Nidri for a bit of nightlife. Water like a millpond on the way, we switch off the engine and enjoy some music.

Just as we tie up there’s a great commotion as 2 yachts try to disentangle themselves from each other. The pontoon guy looks on, dismayed.

We get showered and changed and head for the champagne bar.

Agia Efimia

Good night out last night with Elaine & Paul.

After breakfast this morning we set off for Agia Efimia. It’s not far so we can have a good sail on the way. Elaine is great on the helm, she got Konstantinos up to 8 knots which is flying along for a yacht.

Another lovely village, squid & chips for dinner.
