Sivota is very nice, but as the engineer can’t look at our engine problem until Tuesday we decide to head off to Nidri and have a few nights in a hotel.  We get 2 nice rooms at the Santa Maura on Nidri high street. The manager is very pleased to see us, particularly as we can pay cash – credit cards are not being accepted anywhere at the moment.

After a relaxing afternoon watching the British Grand Prix (well done Lewis) we head for the champagne bar.
